Black Sesame Paste (Soup)

Black sesame soup (Paste) is a dessert made with black sesame seeds.

  • 150 g Black Sesame
  • 150 g Glutinous Rice Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 800 ml Boiling Water


  • Take the fresh black sesame seeds full of granules, tiled in a baking sheet and spread evenly on a thin layer.
  • Preheat the oven to 400F, add the sesame seeds and then bake for 10 minutes. Fry the seeds a few more times in the middle of the pan to heat the sesame evenly. If you don’t have an oven, you can also fry it with a small frying pan.
  • Remove the sesame seeds to cool off and let it remain crushed.
  • Pour the glutinous rice flour into a wok and fry it so that it is slightly yellow. Pay attention and make sure that the frying is non-stop to avoid pan fry paste.
  • Add the sesame and the glutinous rice flour according to your favorite taste, open it with boiling water and stir until it reaches the proper concentration.
